Juicing Your Cannabis

1One of the greatest pleasures of growing your own marijuana is the ability to use the entire plant. In addition to being very thrifty, we can derive all the powerful nutrients from the over-abundance of cannabis leaves and stems— even roots, if you’re feeling creative. From the frequent pruning of sun leaves, to your final sugar trim, all these pretty little cuttings contain valuable vitamins and minerals. It’s important to note that because heat isn’t being applied by juicing, the THC cannot convert to it’s psychoactive form and will not cause impairment. However! And this is the best part— you do get to drink up all the CBD (cannabinoids). So, if you know someone who isn’t down to get high, but suffers from an autoimmune disorder or pain condition, this is a great way to introduce them to CBDs. The benefits of CBDs are substantial and varied; most notably, successfully proven to treat the symptoms of neuroimmune and autoimmune conditions. Through juicing, the CBDs are delivered in a more tolerable form and higher dose, compared to when heated. This is also another plug for using clean, biodegradable grow solutions. Or better yet, mixing up your own! It is not recommended to juice plants that have been heavily treated with harsh chemical-heavy solutions. In either case, wash up well.
