Is moral panic regarding cannabis use in the media tabloid press sensationalized and unjustified?
i am currently studying at media at a level and have been asked to carry out a critical research. for this subject i have decided to take a look at the taboilds representation of crime realated cannabis users. does cannabis really make people killed each other? or is the cannabis use blown out of proprtion and used as an easy way out of the fact that there is some people out there that arent 100% in the head.

I think it’s more about the government than it is about the media. Of course, the government could be feeding the media their ideas. There’s a book out there called Cannabis for the Connoisseur that explains how pot went from legal to illegal. It’s quite interesting…..
