Imagine that in the future it has been a few decades since marijuana has been legalized. It is used like alcohol. Other than George W. Bush, most other Presidents have drank alcohol moderately. So do you think it would be an issue in the future if a President smoked cannabis?
So basically that’s the question. Is the decriminalization of marijuana a democratic view or conservative one?
I don’t think that everyone who consumes alcohol is an alcoholic.
I think that’s part of the reason why marijuana hasn’t been decriminalized.

Personally, I think it’s clear that alcohol causes more harm to society than marijuana, so there’s no reason it should be legal while marijuana isn’t. What’s your opinion and why do you hold it? Do you think Obama will end up decriminalizing the plant while he’s in office?
